There is a persistent gap in the achievement levels, participation and outcomes between students in schools serving targeted equity groups and all other students.
Sydney Region recognises the intersecting nature of disadvantage and has the aim to facilitate the elimination of this achievement gap through strategic, innovative and accountable targeted support.
The purpose of this website is to provide a central and accessible source for information relating to the delivery and support of regional Equity programs. As such it will be updated every school holidays to ensure relevant and up-to-date information is provided.
Program delivery is aligned with the Office of Schools Plan, the Sydney Region Plan and the Key Strategic Directions in Equity document.
