Background Information

The Student Representative Council (S.R.C.) is proposing a Bill that will make it law that our canteen ONLY serves junk food.

As a member of the Government, you are required to support this bill.

Task

You must research the stages through which a Bill passes in both the House of Representatives and The Senate.

You and your team must present a PowerPoint presentation giving your main points of argument to support this bill.

The Parliamentary Bill

What is a Bill?

Using the Edu Utility a blank power point presentation named 'passingthebill.ppt' can be placed in each students work folder. The student then opens 'passingthebill.ppt' to complete their work. The 'passingthebill.ppt' is hyperlinked and can be viewed in the web browser. This ensures all students have the presentation saved in the correct folder.
