Background Information:

You work for a  fitness company who specialises in 'Fitness 4 Kidz'.  Your company has been employed to develop a program that will improve the overall health of students at Kogarah Public School. This program will be published in the form of a booklet that will be left at the school as a resource.

The school would like you to design the program to target Stage 3 students.

Design Brief: Steps to follow:

  1. Survey, within your class, students' use of leisure time

  2. Profile your client

  3. Complete fitness testing at the start and finish of the program

  4. Use your knowledge of what demonstrates fitness to devise activities that will improve your client's level of fitness in three areas  (heart rate, endurance and  flexibility) .

  5. Outline a sensible eating plan for a school week.

The company will produce a booklet for the school to use as a resource, therefore, your fitness program will be one page of this booklet.

Your page will include :

  1. Company logo and slogan

  2. Brief  synopsis of survey results

  3. Client profile

  4. Outline of the daily fitness program for 1 week which will be implemented over 5 weeks

  5. Outline of a sensible eating plan for a school week.

Using the EduWeb Topics Utility a blank publisher document named 'fitkiz.pub' can be placed in each students work folder. The student then opens 'fitkiz.pub' to complete their work. The 'fitkiz.pub' is hyperlinked and can be viewed in the web browser. This ensures all students have the file saved in the correct folder.
